CLASSES in Polarity Therapy
Isa brings over 21 years (combined) of teaching experience in Voice, Polarity Therapy, and Sound Therapy. She taught at the college level in Voice (as well as having her own private voice studio), and in private schools in Polarity and Sound Therapies.
She has taught Polarity Therapy at area massage schools and private schools in North Carolina and Virginia. Isa is a Registered Polarity Educator.

MODULE ONE - 50 hours
Polarity Basic I - 14 hours (2 days from 10:00 - 6:00):
Introduces the basic principles of energy flow. You will learn the Polarity General Protocol for use in a Session, a complete protocol for balancing energy. Emphasis is placed on developing the art of touch and understanding the relationship between the body, mind, emotions and spirit in the healing process.

Polarity Basic II - 35 hours (5 days from 10:00 - 6:00):
Is an in depth exploration of Polarity and the expression of life energy through the Five Elements – Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. You will learn Polarity Protocols for balancing each element and the basics of Polarity Yoga Stretches and nutrition. Emphasis is placed on self-discovery through each element. MODULE TWO - 50 hours
Polarity Communication Skills - 36 hours (12 evenings from 6:00 - 9:00):
Focuses on the mind-body connection while continuing Polarity principles with techniques drawn from NLP, Gestalt, Bioenergetics, and other. Emphasis is placed on integrating verbal work with Polarity protocols and on exploring the meaning of physical postures, movement and responses.

Polarity Reflexology - 14 hours (2 days from 10:00 - 6:00):
Explores the relationship between Polarity energy currents and reflex points on the feet, hands, and ears. Used to stimulate and tonify glands and organs and release tensions throughout the body. The protocols can be used by themselves or combined with other Polarity protocols within a session. Prerequisite: Basic I, Basic II

MODULE THREE - 50 hours
Preparation for Practice and Business - 8 hours (1 day from 9:00 - 6:00):
An opportunity to review techniques and discuss issues that have arisen in practice sessions with clients. Case Studies are presented and a class discussion provides feedback and support for issues during the sessions. Prep for Practice introduces you to the practice of Polarity at a professional level and gives you an opportunity to integrate verbal and nonverbal skills learned in other classes to assess your clients needs and establish a healing intention for the session. Other topics will include self care, record keeping, and business practices. Prerequisite: all other APP Program classes except Clinic. Ask about a la carte Tuition
Polarity Clinic - 18 hours (3 days as scheduled) :
Gives you an opportunity to work on clients under the guidance of the Director and senior practitioners. Discussions following the conclusion of each evening address issues related to establishing a successful practice. Prerequisite: Basic I, Basic II, Polarity Communication, Reflexology, Supervision, Prep for Practice.

Must be received from Credentialed Registered Polarity Practitioners (pricing varies)
Outside Class Hours: Polarity Sessions Given – 20 hrs
Must give total of 30 Polarity Practice Sessions to outside clients; 10 must be with one client and following their progress through the series (completed in Module Four).
MODULE FOUR: 10 hours
Outside Class Hours - 10 hours:
Must give total of 30 Polarity Practice Sessions to outside clients;this Module is the completion of the 30 out of class practice sessions.

$125 Registration Fee required to hold space in class.

Upon completion of the Four Modules of the Program, graduates are eligible to apply for Membership in the American Polarity Therapy Association to be registered as an Associate Polarity Practitioner (APP). Membership in APTA is required in order to practice and use the term "Polarity Therapy" in advertising. All Polarity Classes must be received from a Registered Polarity Educator from an APTA Approved Training.
