Isa Dollyhigh, MM, RPP, RPE, NCTMB, LMBT #7070

For over twenty four years, Isa trained and performed as an Operatic Coloratura Soprano; she got her Bachelors and Masters of Music Degrees in Vocal Performance.  She sang the Queen of the Night, Lakme, Sophie, Zerbinetta and Musetta in the United States (including at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts), and in Italy.  She won the Concorso di Eboli “Vissi d’Arte” International Vocal Competition in Italy, and was twice a District Winner in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.

In 1989, she was hired as a North Carolina Visiting Artist and was given the task of bringing Classical Vocal Music and Opera to her audiences in a fresh and educational way.  Those two years, when she lived in the community she served, gave Isa a chance to really look into the eyes of her audience members, to know them as people, and to use music to bring joy to their lives.   She truly began to know what it was to use music to convey love. She had no idea that in the process, the residents would touch her life and set her course in the years to come.

After two years in Washington, DC where she studied voice and sang with the Washington Opera at the Kennedy Center, Isa moved to New York City where she sang and also studied Sound Therapy. She began to know how her voice affected the tissues and structures of the body as well as the emotions and mind. She was able to bring music and sound together in a powerful way that was non-invasive but very helpful. 

Isa returned to North Carolina, and she has had a private practice in Greensboro for over seven years. During those years, she has sung and spoken extensively for such events as the Moses Cone Regional Cancer Center 2003 Patient Retreat entitled "Sound and Silence", 2003 Cancer Survivor Day at the Regional Cancer Center, and at civic groups, colleges, private groups, church groups, Assisted Living Communities, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, and many others.

Isa also teaches Certification Classes and Playshops in Sound Therapy and an APP Program in Polarity Therapy and is on the Faculty of GTCC Professional Massage Therapy Program where she teaches Sound Therapy and Polarity Therapy.

Isa offers sessions in Greensboro, NC in her private practice with her husband, Jorge Guerra, who does sessions in Polarity Therapy. As another option, together they offer Two Practitioner "DUAL" SESSIONS in for a powerful and centering session.

Jorge Guerra, MCP, APP

Jorge Alberto Guerra Santos was born and lived by the blue waters of the Carribean.  He came to the United States with the blessing of his family as a young man.  Joining other family in New York City, he worked for twelve years in a city that rewards the hard work of anyone willing to give it.  He learned mastery in computers, acquired technical degrees and certifications, and met his future wife, Isa.  Isa introduced Jorge to the world of Complementary and Alternative Therapy, and Jorge took a class at the New York Open Center. He later finished his training in North Carolina.

In Jorge's Polarity Sessions, he brings a calm, meditative presence that will help even the most "stressed-out" person relax. Clients have commented that he has"electric hands" and a huge, compassionate heart. A multi-faceted person, Jorge is also a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Holistic Web Designer. His computer business is called "Rescue Your PC".
